Join me in the studio as I begin a special commission for a local elementary school principal taking a well-deserved medical leave. In this video, I focus on the structural "bones" of the project, which I’m calling a "Pockets Book" due to its high-capacity design.
I’m using 5 sheets of US Letter paper folded to create 20 pages, each featuring deep pockets or belly bands specifically sized for 3 x 5 cards. Watch as I implement a ⅛” gusset system between each page to ensure the book can grow without becoming an "alligator book" once 20+ suggestion cards are added!
