Happy August~~~ It’s an out of plan week for me. My oldest is out of school until her Kindergarten starts on August 10th. Even then it only opens for 3 hours for the first 3 weeks! This week I was busy cleaning the mess she and her friend made over the weekend then working on her backpack. I started the backpack from zero - no tutorial and no pattern so yeah, it’s a challenge. A fun and stressful one with her keeps bugging me to make clothes for her dolls. As a result, I didn’t make any progress on the ephemera of the kit I was working on (the papers are completed) or finishing up the boho journals I am still working on.
Then I saw some images of Santa enjoying summer. I HAD to make something with the funny images and I feel they fit the Christmas in July theme. So, although it’s already August, I still decided to make something with them. That’s how these Santa in Beach journal cards came.
