Pocket Tags Variations

Junkers Craft CO-OP Facebook group I am part of is having The Scrapbook Series Tutorial. In this tutorial series, Cheryl or Debbie - the admins, made a simple video showing us how to use scrapbook paper on Junk Journal. One of the tutorial is making pocket tag. Of course, I had to do it my way.

Instead of stacking the cut piece like the tutorial, I flipped then crossed it. I also added a strip of lace washi tape to slightly separate the white pocket layer with the background.

I also made a pocket tag booklet/folder out of 12" x 6" cardstock paper.

This is how it looks from the front. The bottom one was purposely made to open right because I wanted the image shows. It is a flower but somehow it looked like a deer head with cap. What did you see?

Neither of these tags were completed. I still needed to embellish it more. But, I will do it later when I know where I am going to use these for. For now I only have 1 finished.

I embossed the paper then dragged a blue ink pad across to color the embossed snowflakes. I kept the pockets as is because I want the folder to close flat. After looking at them, I think that these pocket tag folder also works as a card with gift card/cash holder. Tug gift card/cash on the pocket and a note on the pocket or on the other side of pocket, and send it away as a card.

After The Scrapbook Series Tutorial on the Facebook group is completed, I shall make a summary Scrapbook Tutorial.

Happy Crafting,
Sherls
