This year I was planning to join my first ever craft fair. But... as we all know, it won't happen. Instead of feeling disheartened, I decided to still make the albums I was planning to sell on the craft fair and found a Facebook group to sell it.
Yes, I could have gone with Etsy, GoImagine or other online craft stores. But... frankly, I don't think I have time to maintain it (keeping up supplies, filling it with new supplies, promotions, and so on). Importantly, I don't want to feel pressured to do what I love.
The Crafters Crib Facebook group was one of the latest group I joined. It's the best craft selling and buying group I found. People weren't only posting the crafts they made but also asking questions, opinions, discussing online sales tips, and supporting each other.
I donated one of my craft-fair-intended folio album for the recent bi-weekly giveaway on the group and the response encouraged me more to try selling my albums. And finally I made the step to promote my Facebook page to sell my previously made albums and new albums. These folio albums, hopefully, would be my first sale. I made 2 styles of these albums. They are the same design but slightly different goodies - one with tag booklet and the other one with journal book. Finger crossed I could sell at least one of the album.
