It's been a while since I craft. Taking care an active toddler and a baby took a lot of my time. With my husband working from home due to the pandemic, I had to cook almost everyday. Before I just cook very simple meal once in awhile for myself and my toddler or just ate leftover food cooked on weekend. Now... the daily cooking didn't always generate leftover. Frankly, I still have it better than some people like those who couldn't have any income due to the pandemic, the health care workers, or the graduates who couldn't have once in a lifetime graduation ceremony or a prom - like my neighbor's teenager daughter.
I won't say I understand her disappointment for not having a prom or graduation ceremony. I didn't really know how it felt for her. I did knew for sure that she was upset. Still I hope she could have a once in a lifetime great memory during this time. Thus, I made her an album to keep these memories. In future, when she needs a reminder how resilient she is, she could always look back into these times. Oh, of course I also made her a Black Forrest cake for her graduation celebration.
