Three Layers Bag Tutorial (+Free Pattern)

This is the tutorial for my Three Layers Bag. Before you continue, please be aware that I am not a professional sewer. I am just a sewer by need - only sew something I need/want. My sewing steps might not be the best and the easiest. It's the one that worked for me. I appreciated it very much if you would share me the better way to sew this bag. If you have any question, please feel free to drop it in the comment or email me. I will respond you as soon as possible.
Materials:
  • 1/2 yard front fabric
  • 1 yard inner fabric
  • 1/4 yard bias fabric
  • a fat quarter pocket fabric
  • lightweight interfacing (I used Pellon 808)
  • 10" zipper
  • 2 pcs 8" zippers
  • 2 pcs magnetic snaps
  • Patterns (download free pattern here)
Optional (for sling strap):
  • 2 pcs 1" D rings
  • 2 pcs 1 1/2" swivel hook rectangle rings
  • 1 piece 1 1/2" slide buckle
Steps:

Note: the patterns on the picture are slightly different from the attached file. I added more marking and changed some terms/correct instruction on the pattern. The shape remained unchanged.
Tips: print on cardstock paper or adhere the printed pattern to advertisement paper. The thick pattern make it easy to trace the pattern on fabric.

Happy Crafting,
Sherls
