Cards.... Cards.... Cards.... Tons of Cards... with Scrap Papers

I feel the crafts I made most in the past 4 years are cards. I recently made 144 Christmas cards to share with my neighbor, family, and friends. It's a lot that I no longer feel the urge to take pictures of them. Most of the time I made the cards using some templates I found online and my paper scraps. I used not only the conventional cards using paper scraps you could find on YouTube but also my own. Well, sometimes the way I used the scraps made me feel I am a cheapskate 😏. Well, you judge. These were some of the cards I made using scraps.

Sometimes when I cut my papers for scrapbook album or cards, I was left with strips of paper and I kept them. I glued them diagonally on a paper, stamped on them and used it as a card front like the "Happy Birthday" card on the left bottom row.

Did you notice that the pin-wheel like decoration on the bottom "Happy Birthday" card was made using paper scraps as well? It's the scrap paper from some project's cover - the triangle you cut to cover the cover with designer paper.

Sometimes when die cutting an image, I was left with tiny bits scraps that's made a nice image on it's own. For those scraps, I arranged them and glued it on my card front to make a nice decoration like the green embellishment on the white simple "Happy Birthday" cards on both pictures.

Happy Crafting,
Sherls
