Funny birthday card

My husband's aunt birthday is coming soon. I don't know her very well (we only met once). According to my husband, she likes funny animal cards. She also has a dog and a cat. So after looking for a funny birthday card expression, I decided to make one with "birthday cake" phrase: "I was waiting for this day... ...and eat your birthday cake".

I happened to have a picture of a dog and a cat from paint colour booklet. It's perfect! So I cut both and used it in the card. I also changed the phrase slightly to match the count of the animals in the card. I used another scrapbook paper from my DCWV Fresh Floral stack collection to cover the edge of the ribbon in front cover of the card. This card was easy and quick to make.
