Baby first Christmas's gift set

Baby first Christmast's gift
My husband's step brother's wife had a baby last October. That means this Christmas was his very first Christmas. I had a lot of things I want to make for him but I decided on bibs, baprons, couple burb clothes, a diaper changing pad, and a blanket. I made all of them using:

Materials
  • 2 yards of flannel with 2 different designs (total 4 yards)
  • soft towel
  • microfibre wash clothes (I used microfibre instead of soft towel because of the softness of the microfibre)
  • a very long bias tape (85" for each bapron, 3 yard for each bib)

I found the pattern for the bibs and bapron (bib apron) online:

I got the idea to make the diaper pad from looking my friend changing her baby's diaper anywhere - on the computer table, on a chair, on a sofa, etc. Whenever she changed her baby's diaper on a hard surface like computer table, I always thought, "Poor baby." It would be very nice if the baby has a soft mat with a soft pillow to lay while the parent is changing the diaper. There are a lot of diaper changing pad tutorial online. While most of them has pockets for diaper and fold-able for easy carry-on, none of them has pillow except one: Pickup Some Creativity's Pottery Barn kids style changing pad. I liked the pillow design but the size is a bit off for me. The pockets are not aligned with the diaper pad folding. So, I altered her tutorial size (I will post it later). The result was very nice - it was the mother's favourite amongst the rest of the gifts!
