Finished bedroom

I think it's unfair to just share my idea for our new bedroom but never show the final look of it. So here we go!

As I mentioned previously, we didn't have any plan to buy a bed frame. So we still have our mattress on the floor. But the bedroom is much cleaner and bigger, right? All the boxes that cluttered our bedroom were gone (compare to the picture here). They were unpacked and placed to where they belong to. Now what's left to our big empty bedroom is a mattress, a thick blanket, a tall fan and a heater on the corner of the room, a laundry bag, a table with my DIY make up box and a trash can. Oh, I also kept our certificate on the other window that we never open - the one on top of our mattress.

So far I like how our mattress laid on the ground. I seem to be more vulnerable to cold than my husband. I tend to use one more blanket than him - this is where he comes to action before the thick red blanket. Yup, he is my living blanket =) I don't mind the red blanket on the mattress above the black throw but it is too hot for him - even if I folded it on the bottom part of the mattress. Previously I had to put some on hanging the folded blanket on the edge of the mattress (actually just trust the friction between the red blanket and the black throw to hold it in place) so that it's easy to access when the temperature suddenly drop. Btw, it's usually him who access it. He is the one who pulled it to warm me up. Hehehe...

Close look up at the other furniture in the room

I thought you might interested to see the close up picture of the other furniture in the room. There you can see a red trash can (which mostly for our fallen hair), our outdoor aluminium table that I covered with the old table cloth I have, and a laundry bag that I got from Ikea. Oh, I forgot to mention about the grey make up box that I made 2 years ago. I still have the blue print for that box. I will post it later with some explanation. I might not be able to put a detailed tutorial, though. Currently I have no plan of making the second box. =P

So, that's all for the bedroom. This is not the final stage of the bedroom though. I planned to put a darker curtain on the window beside the mattress and put a decoration to cover the hole on the wall near the door. (Did you notice it?)
